After a successful “Come and Sing” Tour with Messiah, the same team now embarks upon a 2023/4 “Come and Sing” Tour for

MOZART REQUIEM

We shall visit the same venues as with Messiah with a few exceptions and two new venues in Kent and Brighton and as with Messiah, there may be one or two surprises to add to the fun.

  • When you book a ticket for one of our come and sing Mozart Requiem Tour events, the fun starts before the day itself. With the confirmation of your booking you will also receive lots of useful digital resources. These include:

    • A digital score of the whole work

    • Recorded note-by-note teaching sessions and overview rehearsals to help you learn and/or refresh your memory of the music

    • Learning tracks with your voice part louder to help you practise

    • MP3 downloads of the entire Mozart Requiem as performed by Choir of the Earth

At the event itself, our charismatic Musical Director Ben England BEM will lead us through the whole Mozart Requiem in workshops throughout the day.

Then, in the early evening, Ben will conduct you in a Concert Performance of the Requiem, accompanied by a local organist.

PLEASE NOTE: pictures and video of the event may be taken and shown on YouTube afterwards. Please let us know if you prefer NOT to be in a video.

  • We will rehearse, sing and perform the whole Mozart Requiem throughout the day.

Please bring your own score. We will NOT have any scores on site.

We provide a free digital score with your resource pack, which you can either bring on a portable device such as a tablet or, if you prefer, print a copy.

Alternatively you may wish to source your own printed score (Peters Edition).

  • As soon as you purchase your ticket, we will have your email address on file so we shall update you with the schedule timings for each event.

The doors open at each event at 09:00 unless advised otherwise (London’s doors will open at 10:00) and we hope to be finished by 17:00 on the day. We shall do our best to stay on schedule.

  • We shall have 3 pricing levels:

£50 for London. This will feature the whole Requiem plus 4 soloists from Fieri Consort

£35 for Edinburgh, Manchester and Dublin. These will feature the whole Requiem and a selection of soloists depending upon the venue

£29 for the other venues. These will feature the whole Requiem with one soloist. We shall also add the AVE VERUM CORPUS and LAUDATE which will be taught by Ben on the day.

    Your ticket includes:

    • Attendance at the Mozart Requiem Tour event

    • World-class teaching by Ben

  • Your health and safety is absolutely paramount to us and we will carry out a risk assessment prior to each event.

We reserve the right to postpone in the event that we are required to do so for health reasons.

We are conscious that Covid-19 is still with us and will take as many steps as possible to prevent the spread of viruses at our events, including regular ventilation, providing hand sanitiser and encouraging its use throughout the day, especially at busy touch-points, and supporting those who wish to wear face coverings and/or maintain a reasonable social distance.
